Pair of Encaustic Paintings by Ruth Grover

Pair of mid-20th century framed Ruth D. Grover abstract encaustic paintings. Ruth Grover (1912 - 2003) is a well-known, listed Oregon seacoast artist who revived the lost art of encaustic painting in the 1960's. Excellent condition. Original paper on verso.

Sight size of each is 8 inches by 5.75 inches, framed size is 16.5 inches by 14.25 inches. They are framed in non-glare glass with 5/8 inch thick period painted wood frames.
