Teak Coffee Table by Peter Hvidt and Orla Molgaard

Teak coffee table designed by Peter Hvidt and Orla Molgaard for France & Son, 1950's. (Lit. Mobilia no. 28, 1957, p. 54.) France & Son metal tag intact on underside of top.

Gently curved up edges at ends of table top, exposed mortised joints and a black formica-covered pull-out leaf extension on one end. Very good condition. The length is 58 inches, while the width is 25.5 inches and the table has a height of 18.75 inches.
